These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and ResumeCraft ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our web platform (https://resumecraft.co.in), including our AI-assisted resume builder, cover letter tools, career blueprints, and PDF generation services.
1. Acceptance & User Eligibility
By registering for an account, accessing, or using any feature of ResumeCraft, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of legal consent in your jurisdiction) to use our platform. By using ResumeCraft, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of Services
ResumeCraft provides digital career empowerment tools, including but not limited to:
- Interactive resume drafting, editing, and preview environments.
- Recruiter-tested, ATS-compliant resume and cover letter templates.
- AI-assisted content generation, summary refinement, and bullet point suggestions powered by Google Gemini API.
- Resume ATS Score checking and formatting feedback.
- Client-side and server-rendered vector PDF generation and exports.
3. User Accounts & Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (whether email/password or Google OAuth tokens). You agree to notify us immediately at support.resumecraft@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
You agree that all information you submit (e.g., job history, academic credentials, professional certifications) is accurate, truthful, and lawful. ResumeCraft is not responsible for any repercussions resulting from inaccurate or fabricated information entered into resumes.
4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
Your Content (You Own Your Resume)
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of the personal text, career data, and images you input into your resume. You grant ResumeCraft only the limited, non-exclusive license required to process, store, format, and render your document as requested by you.
Platform IP & Template Copyrights
All source code, user interface designs, template layouts, graphic assets, logos, brand elements, and algorithms comprising ResumeCraft are the proprietary property of ResumeCraft and its creators, protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse-engineer, clone, or redistribute our templates for commercial gain outside of personal career use.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
When using ResumeCraft, you agree that you will NOT:
- Use disposable or fake burner emails to abuse server resources or bypass rate limits.
- Deploy automated scrapers, bots, crawlers, or extraction scripts against our services.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or compromise our infrastructure, API endpoints, or database clusters.
- Upload malicious code, harmful payloads, or deceptive material into resume profiles.
6. AI Assistance & Employment Disclaimer
ResumeCraft offers AI-generated suggestions (including bullet improvements and summary drafting) designed to assist you in formulating professional documents. However:
- AI suggestions are advisory. You must review and verify all generated content for personal accuracy before submitting applications to prospective employers.
- No Employment Guarantee: ResumeCraft does not guarantee job placement, interview callbacks, hiring offers, or specific career outcomes. Hiring choices are solely made by independent third-party employers.
7. Third-Party Links & Advertising
Our platform may contain links to external third-party websites, career resources, or advertisements served by third-party partners (such as Google AdSense). We do not control or endorse the content, policies, or practices of external sites. Your interactions with third-party vendors or advertisers are solely between you and the respective third party.
8. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResumeCraft is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
In no event shall ResumeCraft, its founders, developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to use the platform.
9. Termination & Account Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion via email or dashboard tools. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy, compromise security, or engage in abusive platform behavior.
